In July/August 2012 Matthew Williams, an ex-Kenilworth School pupil who was also on the USU technical team, visited Uyogo in Tanzania. He, along with his girlfriend, spent 7 weeks living and working in the village. A short highlights video of his trip is here!

In April 2012 our Technical Director, Ben Sidaway, and Vision Manager, Tom Williams, travelled with One World Link to Sierra Leone. Whilst out there they delivered training sessions in Global Issues, Leadership and ICT. One World Link is a charitable organisation based in Warwick, UK and Bo, Sierra Leone and acts as a friendship link between the two districts.

Whilst out there, Ben and Tom had the opportunity to visit Bo Government School which is linked with Kenilworth School. They were able to talk with pupils and gain a greater understanding of the differences and similarities of the two cultures.
